Hoy quise compartirles un poco acerca de mi experiencia de cuando me fui de mochilazo por Europa. Como ya mucho de ustedes saben, es de lo mejor que me ha pasado. Claro que hubieron altos y bajos en este viaje porque fueron meses en donde estaba sola conociendo lugares pero dentro de lo que cabe, siempre me fue bien y lo disfruté.

Es por eso que les quiero compartir las apps que usé, esas apps que me faciltaron un poco (o mucho) mis viajes. Quiero que les ayude a la gente que tienen un viaje pronto o simplemente, para que se animen y se den cuenta de que no es tan difícil el viajar sola. En mi primer viaje de mochilazo, yo no llevaba celular, así que eso si fue un poco más complicado pero LO SÚPER RECOMIENDO. Ves cosas que antes no hubieras visto por estar en el celular, conoces a mucha más gente y te desconectas del mundo que conoces para abrir tu mente a todas estas nuevas experiencias.

Pero bueno, yo sé que es difícil dejar un rato el celular y es por eso que les comparto estas apps que van a poder usar en sus viajes para que les facilite todo...

Tonight I wanted to tell you a little bit about my experience about backpacking in Europa. As some of you know, it has been one of my favorite things to do. Of course, there where ups and downs because I was traveling by myself for months but mostly, I had a great time and enjoyed it so much.

That's why I want to share with you guys the apps I used on this trip. But first, I want to let you know that the first time I went backpacking, I had no cellphone and it was great! I truly recommend that too because you get to see things you didn't imagine and know people you end up loving, you get to disconnect for a while and open up your mind for new experiences.

But since I know it's not so easy to leave your cellphone behind, here are the apps I recommend for your trip..

MAPS.ME

Esta app fue la que yo use durante mi viaje a Europa y es muy buena, te muestra las fotos del lugar, los comentarios de la gente que ya se ha quedado, te da la dirección para llegar y que no te pierdas y además te ponen en contacto inmediatamente con los del lugar en donde te quedas.

Es padrísimo quedarte en un hostal porque muchas personas de diferentes países igual están viajando y se quedan también en hostales. Así que es una oportunidad para conocer y salir a divertirte con ellos.

This app was the one I used during my trip to Europa and I love it. Te ofrece las opciones de tren, autobús y avión más rápidas y baratas para viajar a cualquier ciudad o pueblo en Europa en una sola búsqueda.

Lo que yo tomaba con esta app eran autobuses y no eran los más cómodos pero me podía mover de país en país a un muy buen precio.

Compare and book trains, buses and flight to anywhere in Europe with one simple search.

What I booked the most with this app were the buses and although they weren't the most comfortable, they got me from one country to another at a very good price.

KAYAK

Busca por ti en cientos de webs de viajes para encontrar el vuelo que necesitas.

Yo use esta app y me fue muy bien pero sé de otras que funcionan como Kayak que son: Skyscanner y Momondo.

Hay mucha gente que te ofrece un cuarto, una cama o un sillón pero con la garantía de pasarla muy bien.

Yo recomiendo que si usan esta app, vayan con amigos y no solos. Normalmente es segura y la gente igual comenta acerca de su experiencia con el host pero como dicen, hay días buenos y hay días malos. Hay hosts que están ya verificados por la app y eso es mucho más seguro.

Couchsurfing is a vibrant travel community of over 10 million locals and travelers. Use Couchsurfing to find accomodations or meetup with nearby locals.

It's a nice experience because you get to stay with people who are locals, so you won't feel so much like a tourist anymore.

Hosts can offer you a room, a bed or a sofa.

I recommend that you go with friends, not by yourself. Most of the time, it's safe and some hosts are verified by the app but sometimes it's weird to stay with people you know nothing about. So you should still be careful.

RYANAIR

Aquí pueden encontrar de las tarifas de vuelo más bajas para viajar por Europa. Además te envían tu tarjeta de embarque directamente a tu teléfono.

Lo que les puedo recomendar es que viajen ligero y con esto me refiero a una maleta de mano de 10kg o menos y que tenga las dimensiones que piden en esta aerolínea o en otras de bajo costo. Es muy importante que revisen eso porque si no, es cuando la aerolínea te cobra mucho más de lo que esperabas pagar.

I recommend you to travel with hand luggage not heavier than 10kg and that has the dimensions the airline accepts. It's very important for you to pay attention to this because if you don't, you will be paying way more than what you expected to.
